The Good Book?

Another video to watch this evening, this time it’s another one by QualiaSoup. It’s part 2 of a series on morality, the first part of which I mentioned on here about a month ago.

That first video dealt with the idea of being Good Without Gods, this one addresses the matter of Not-so-good Books:

The example used as a morally not-so-good book is the Christian bible and, as the video shows, although there are some worthy moral ideas within these are rather outweighed by the acts of outright immorality and injustice that the god of the bible demands and endorses. I recommend that you watch the video to learn more and, perhaps more importantly, read that bible without the rose-tinted spectacles of apologetics because the horrific things that are in the video are in the bible too.
