Slaughterhouse On The Prairie

Just thought I’d mention that I’ve been listening to Slaughterhouse On The Prairie by Buckethead – which is a very (VERY) good album, especially for those with an interest in guitar-driven instrumentality. I have also been listening to his Electric Tears opus, which is also a very (VERY!) good album and rather different in tone to Slaughterhouse. Where Electric Tears is laid back, ambient and flavoured with acoustic mellowness, Slaughterhouse is awash with heavy beats, heavy guitars, wailing melodies and outburst of musical unusualisations.

Mr. Buckethead is clearly an extremely talented guitarist (of whom I am not jealous, at all).

I am also not jealous in any way of the variety displayed on his Crime Slunk Scene and Colma releases.
