Can I just point out to anyone who thinks otherwise – the current Chancellor’s budget soundbite about putting fuel in the economy is just that, a soundbite. A slice of headline grabbing bollocks designed to make him and his government cronies look good.
The price of petrol here this afternoon was 144.9p per litre. This evening it will be 143.9p. Big bloody deal! Fuel remains cripplingly expensive in these islands.
Altogether now, how can you tell when a politician is lying…?
