Following a late winning goal and “a largely well-behaved pitch invasion” (???) Celtic now face the potential Scottish Cup banana skin of a fired-up Ross County.
Having watched Rangers just survive a close call against St. Mirren last weekend to lift the CIS Cup, it’s easy to see how a cup game can favour the underdog and have dire consequences for the supposed favourite. Rangers are strong favourites for a treble this season and the best chance Celtic have to stop that is by lifting the Scottish Cup. But having made it this far, Ross County will no doubt believe they can go further.
Let’s not forget Inverness Caley Thistle!
