Bad Karma

A few weeks ago I posted about my decision to leave Facebook. At that time, I removed all the applications, contacts and other stuff from my account and then deactivated it. I also requested that they remove all my details from their servers.

They have not done as I asked! I know this because today I decided to check and see if my account can be reactivated. Surprise, surprise, it can!

This is very, very naughty of them.

It shows a blatant disregard for my privacy and reveals the fact that they have totally ignored my request for my details to be expunged!

Today I sent them an email asking that they delete all my details from their servers, citing my concerns about privacy as a reason. I’m now waiting to see what they come up with by way of a response.
