And another thing. I went and paid my road tax today. Well, wasn’t that £175 soundly invested. As I drove home today, the car rattled and bumped as my wife drove the assault course of pot-holes, bumps, dips, and dubious verges that masquerade as our road home. With the amount of money raised in road tax and from fuel, every bloody road in this country should be immaculate. I wonder how many country roads could have been put right with the £430 million wasted on that heap of potential rubble that is the home of the Scottish Parliament!?!
