What kind of an eejit, even if they are a policeman, confiscates the bottles of champagne a team (East Fife) is using to celebrate the fact that they have just won the league (Scottish Third Division)?
My bet is he was a supporter of either East Stirlingshire who had just been beaten by East Fife, or of one of the other Third division sides.
Making this, yes you’ve guessed, something of a case of sour grapes.
